Carbone Fine Food wants everyone to be able to browse, shop, and read this website, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control, or keyboard-only navigation. We treat accessibility as ongoing work, not a one-time project, and we keep improving the site as new features are added and learn of new standards that are written.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium, explain how to make web content usable by people with a wide range of disabilities.

What we have done

In October 2026 we completed an accessibility audit of this website that combined automated testing tools with manual testing by keyboard and with screen readers. We fixed the issues that audit found, from critical barriers through minor ones, including color contrast, heading structure, focus visibility, form labeling, and reduced-motion support.

Accessibility is part of how the site is built and maintained. New features and content changes are checked against the same standard within minutes of going live, and the whole site is reviewed every month.

Known limitations

Some parts of the shopping experience are provided by third party services whose code we do not control. We choose vendors that publish their own accessibility commitments and we report problems to them when we find them. These services currently include:

If you run into a barrier in one of these services, please tell us. We will work with the vendor and help you complete your purchase another way in the meantime.

This website is built to work with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, and with the screen readers VoiceOver and NVDA. It relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WAI-ARIA to deliver an accessible experience.
